Specialist for electrical connection technology relies on benefits of FBDi association

ROland Püplichhuisen, Managing Director

The FBDi trade association welcomes Karl Püplichhuisen KG, a traditional distribution company from Duisburg, as its new member. The family business, founded in 1926, is managed in third generation by the brothers Roland and Ralf Püplichhuisen. Today, 180 employees at 3 locations in Germany and a branch office in Poland are busy consulting their customers on manufacturer level.

Püplichhuisen has its core competence in the field of electrical connection technology. In addition to a broad product range in this sector, the distributor also has established its own cable assembly department and is selling the associated processing equipment for all domains of application. Due to the close cooperation with manufacturers of various industrial sectors, Püplichhuisen always aims to guarantee the quality and reliability of its products and services. Thus, great emphasis is set on the compliance with the DIN EN ISO standards for quality and environmental management.

"We regard the collective association work of the FBDi as an enormous advantage in the jungle of national EU regulations. We repeatedly find ourselves confronted with industry-specific questions and challenges regarding environment, liability and quality management. It is difficult and time-consuming to maintain an overview as an individual company," as Managing Director Roland Püplichhuisen, explains the reason for joining the trade association. "The FBDi brings together companies with equivalent problems, in order to take on the demands of the industry together in a constructive exchange of information."
